What is Bed & Breakfast?

Bed & breakfast is a term, for a place that offers bed accommodation, and full breakfast to guest in the morning. Usually B&B does not offer other meals unless requested by guests.It is ideal for people traveling through an area on short stays.

Staying at a B&B can sometimes offer better access to locations "off the beaten path" which may not be convenient to the city center or other heavily traveled locations.

What is the difference between common hotel accommodation from bed & breakfast services?

Bed & Breakfast normally operates like the hotel services we are used to but on a smaller and more personalized setup. One major difference between bed and breakfasts and hotels has to do with privacy and anonymity. Both offer and insure your privacy. But hotels offer more anonymity, while bed and breakfast enables visitors to meet and interact with other people while maintaining their privacy with additional comforts offered in a home setting. Smaller than hotel chains, B&B provides more exclusive setting for limited number of guests.

What is UrbanMala Residence Bed & Breakfast?

Urban MALA B&B are affordable first class accommodation where owner and staff take pride in the high service levels, local knowledge and personal touch they are able to offer.

At Urban Mala, the guest can choose from deluxe and standard rooms. Guests have access to living area, kitchen, dining area and the wonderful view of Manila Bay. All rooms in Urban MALA are spacious, very clean and beautifully furnished. Rooms are provided with hot water, air-conditioning, cable TV and wireless fast internet access. Depending on the budget, guest can choose from deluxe room with own bathroom or standard room with shared bathroom.

At Urban MALA, guest can also enjoy the amenities in the building such as gym, swimming pool, sports area, etc. Guest can also order their breakfast and other meals from a variety of sumptuous choices of Filipino, Oriental, Italian, Spanish and Western cuisine.

What other amenities does Urban MALA offer?

There are 4 rooms available depending on your needs. We have the Deluxe 1, Deluxe 2, Standard 1, and Standard 2. All the rooms entitle you to enjoy the building’s amenities like gym, swimming pool with Jacuzzi and recreation center where you can play indoor games. UrbanMala offers laundry service and airport transportation per your request.

Deluxe 1:

The Deluxe room 1 has its own private bathroom. This room is bigger than standard rooms, which makes it ideal for families and group travelers. Deluxe room 1 has a king size bed (roughly about 76 inches wide and 80 inches long). Room easily accommodates 2 adults plus 1 child (less than 12 years of age). It is equipped with air conditioning, unlimited wireless internet access and cable TV. Deluxe room 1 has a great view of Manila Bay from the window side and will give you the best Manila Sunset view during the last hours of daylight.

Deluxe 2:

The deluxe 2 room is a quiet and solemn room that allows for peace and solitude to your liking. It has its own private bathroom and is just slightly smaller than the Deluxe 1 room but nevertheless private enough to enjoy your solace. Deluxe 2 has a queen size bed (roughly about 60 inches wide and 80 inches long). This room also easily accommodates 2 people and a child less than 12 years old. It has its own television, unlimited wireless internet access and air conditioning. This room is best for single travelers but will also accommodate families or groups. As long as you enjoy exceptional service and comfort, this room would be the best option as it is also very affordable.

Standard 1:

The standard room 1 is a private room that creates the impression of staying in your own home away from home. It is great for single and business travelers to make sure that they don’t leave the security and warmth of their own homes. This bedroom has a double sized bed which is roughly about 54 inches wide and 75 inches long. The standard room can also accommodate 2 persons and a child less than 12 years of age.Although it shares a common bathroom with the other standard room, it has its own air conditioning, television and unlimited wireless internet connection.

Standard 2:

The standard room 2 is the only room that has 2 single beds at about 26 inches wide and 80 inches long per bed. This room is best for young adults or paired travelers. It shares a common bathroom and allows only 2 adults but can also accommodate a child less than 12 years of age. The room has air condition, television and unlimited wireless internet connection.

Where is UrbanMala Residence Bed & Breakfast located?

UrbanMala is located at the 20th floor of the Bayview International Towers, just 5 minutes away from the Manila Airport and close to major shopping centers like the SM Mall of Asia and tourist sites in Manila. The place is overlooking Manila Bay.

What are the rates for each room?

Room rates in peso are subject for adjustments depending on current

forex.

Do you have any transport service?

Yes, we have a transport service that picks up passengers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport directly to UrbanMala. This is a service available per request and cost about 800Php+. If you need this service, please indicate on the comment entry of your online reservation page.

I want to reserve a room for 1 week and then go home for a couple of days, then stay at UrbanMala for the next few days. Should I make two separate reservations for the intermittent dates?

It is recommended to make two separate reservations, even if the gap between reservations is just 1 day. We usually process the reservations in *blocked dates, therefore each blocked date will be considered as 1 reservation. You will receive a conformation for each blocked date.

Can we cook our own food during the day since breakfast is the only food served?

Yes, cooking is allowed since you have access to the kitchen and all the utensils. However, there is an additional charge for the use of kitchen consumables like gas, seasoning, etc.

*Blocked date: a set of fixed days for reservation. This usually appears after a check out and then follows another reservation.
